A fancy dress competition not only blends learning with fun but also develops confidence in students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their own classmates. To celebrate this fun-filled learning activity, children participated in a virtual fancy dress competition. The medium could not limit the creativity of the parents who dressed children with boundless imagination. They were dressed as organic farmers, air balloons, Coronavirus, cookies, penguins, etc. to name a few. Children also participated with a lot of enthusiasm and displayed their confidence while speaking. Their innocent words and stage presence won the hearts of teachers and judges.
The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, and for coming together with family and friends. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The essence of Christmas came alive when Santa Clause himself went into the classes. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them. The delightful celebration included children coming in red and white color party dresses, bringing their favorite food for lunch, dancing, and sharing the merriment together.
Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden. Happy Children’s Day! We all celebrated the Children’s Day Celebration with great joy and greatness at St. Mary’s Convent Matric Hr. Sec. School, Annur Campus.
On Independence Day, people are overflowing with patriotism. It unites people and gives them the feeling that, despite our many distinct languages, faiths, and cultural traditions, we are one nation. Unity in diversity is India’s main essence and strength. We are proud to be citizens of the world’s largest democratic country, where ordinary people have authority. Because it marks the end of British rule, Independence Day is a joyous occasion for the country. It draws individuals from all walks of life from all over the country together. The core path and strength of India is unity in diversity. We are proud to be citizens of the world’s largest majority-rule country, where democracy reigns supreme.
Our freedom fighters’ struggle reveals that the freedom we now enjoy is earned at the cost of the lives of hundreds of individuals. Every Indian citizen is instilled with patriotism as a result of it. It acquaints the current generation with India’s liberation fighters and helps them comprehend the sufferings of those around them.
The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by variety of fun filled activities ,games ,movies and a Cultural programme planned by the teachers for the children where the teachers sang and danced out of love for their beloved students.
