Founder Message

             The society of Kristu Dasis originated as a response to the various needs of the people of God scattered everywhere irrespective of caste and creed. St. Mary’s Convent School in Annur is a response of this society to the educational needs of the people of Annur. The society runs under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Palakkad.

            The motto of the school is ‘Divine Love and Wisdom’ in fact the aim of sound education is beyond human and natural knowledge and obtaining employment. It touches most parts of the human person. Creates gradual but tangible changes in him and transforms him more and more into his real image which is nothing else but God’s image. Thus he becomes the real wise man’ discerning whatever is good in him, in others, and in the whole world.

        The ideal of the school is also expressed in its emblem, it portrays the pattern of Mother-Child relationships while the process of learning and discipline takes place. AS a mother the educationalist inculcates love and learning, discipline and dedication, truth and trust.

        It is my wish that Blesses Virgin Mary, the Patroness of our school may bless in all our endeavors and constantly intercede for the fulfillment of its dreams and ideals and above all help every child to grow a ‘Jesus grew in wisdom and in favour with God and Men'(LK 2:)
